This is amazing. Your animation is stunning, and the elaborate story in this animation is equally awe inspiring. Your art style is indescribably great. Very dark, which is always a plus with me. Music was awesome, especially how it was consistent throughout the animation. Voice acting and sound effects were flawless. You didn't cut any corners here, simply amazing.
I'm with the treasure hunt crowd
I liked the strangeness that came with this. You have artistic talent, but I the walk animation was kind of wierd. It was probably intentional, but I still didn't really like it. The intermittent music was a nice touch, as well as the flashes of "Obey". The ending however, was too abrupt in my opinion, especially with the guy throwing up at the end. I like your animation style, keep it up.
I really liked the dialogue between the two character types. I liked the voice acting for the eyes type the thing, but it was a little weak for the man / ghost whatsit. I liked the sound effects very much, but I think you could've done more in terms of music during the character's conversations. Also, the gradient background doesn't quite fit. This was a good animation though.
Like the story behind it
I love the feeling that seems to have gone into this. The music and graphics were average, but I really two little things that I saw. Some of the later levels, were one character is up higher and the other is positioned to look like its watching TV, and the another one where one comes in through the door and put his coat rack, while the other is downstairs at the dinner table. Am I the only one to notice that the characters change, I tried to figure what set which character at which position, probably whichever dies less or collects more of the little squares. the gradual control shift is also really nice. The game itself isn't particularly amazing, but the story behind it is quite well executed.
This is a pretty nice puzzle game. I've always liked these peg puzzles. The programming for the game is nice, and the puzzles are good. Some suggestions I have for you are to improve the graphics, add some music, and increase the level of difficulty sooner. It really looks like you know what you're doing, it just could've been a little cleaner.
I saw this a game like this before once, but yours is much better in my opinion, I found yours quite enjoyable. The fairly simplistic design of the cars made it easy to keep track of them all, but they were detailed enough to look nice. I also liked how you had the motorcycles, buses, and trucks in addition to regular cars, it added some variety to the game. I did finally beat level 20, but level 15 was probably the hardest for me. One thing I didn't like was the music, it got really annoying and repetitive pretty quickly, I had to mute it about halfway though playing the game. Also, there were some levels where I didn't have to click a single light and I passed the level just by luck, even on some of the final ones. Overall it was really nice, your games are always really original.
I think this could end up being a pretty decent song. I liked the part from :58 onward, but that got to be a little repetitive, the melody just repeating itself 4 times. I think the build-up was a little too long as well. I understand that this is just the start to a song, so I hope that more substance ends up in the finished version. As far as the instruments themselves go, I liked the VST that you used for the melody, but you could probably add a little more energy to it. Either make it stand out from the harmony more or accent each note more. The bass also sounded like it really dropped off at that point from :58 onward, that could be louder. I can hear the bass, but its not really present enough to add to the mood of the song. The harmonies were really generic, which I didn't really like. The harmony didn't match the mood of melody either, though I'm not really sure how to fix that. Sorry to be so negative, I'm just a really critical reviewer.
There isn't really that much going on to keep me interested. Some more backing harmonies or counter melodies would be nice and keep things from being too repetitive. As far as the VSTis are concerned, they could've been mixed better. The bass and the one other thing in the back are forgotten about really easily. The drum line is also just a really simple on-the beat kind of thing throughout the whole song, not very interesting. Sorry to be so negative, but I hope this helps.
The melody is pretty average, drums are nice. You could've done more with a rhythm part, the lack of one makes the song seem really one dimensional. I also don't really like the guitar, sounds like slayer. Also, you have all the instrument parts lined up with each other, you could've added some more variety in mixing up their timing a bit more, so they arn't all on the same beat. Hope this helps some.
it is plucked not slayer
Well, I'm not much of an artist, so I can't give you much constructive criticism, but I think that your style of drawing is quite aesthetically pleasing, and I liked this one so much that I decided to write a review anyway. The lighting looks very cool, and the abstract kind of things you have going in the back are also good looking. I don't know how else to describe why I like it, but I like it...alot...favorited...keep it up
