[Soul Cream]

Beastly

This is amazing. Your animation is stunning, and the elaborate story in this animation is equally awe inspiring. Your art style is indescribably great. Very dark, which is always a plus with me. Music was awesome, especially how it was consistent throughout the animation. Voice acting and sound effects were flawless. You didn't cut any corners here, simply amazing.

I'm with the treasure hunt crowd

I liked the strangeness that came with this. You have artistic talent, but I the walk animation was kind of wierd. It was probably intentional, but I still didn't really like it. The intermittent music was a nice touch, as well as the flashes of "Obey". The ending however, was too abrupt in my opinion, especially with the guy throwing up at the end. I like your animation style, keep it up.

Nice message

I really liked the dialogue between the two character types. I liked the voice acting for the eyes type the thing, but it was a little weak for the man / ghost whatsit. I liked the sound effects very much, but I think you could've done more in terms of music during the character's conversations. Also, the gradient background doesn't quite fit. This was a good animation though.

Insane

Your art and animation style is unlike anything I've ever seen. I thought Deus Ex Machina was good ... you are awe inspiring. I could tell just from title slide that this was going to be beast! I like how you don't use madness sprites or anything, you add elements of your own style, in so many ways. Not sure what else to comment on, good music choice, kept focus on the flow of the animation, I also liked how you had some variety in the sound effects, they have the same style, but managed to be unique. This could easily pass as a piece of professional work.

Moderately good

I though the graphics on the middle couple "levels" were really good, especially the third one. The way the dude progressed was kind of cool, however, the final part before he wakes up was pretty subpar, which is when he should have looked best. I didn't like the youtube style ending at all, that destroyed the feeling that the rest of the movie had. I did however, like that you tied it all together with the books and MacBeth and whatnot. Overall it was pretty good, I hope to see from you.

[Emo Girl]

Not too good

This could really use some work. Try actually animating them together, rather than just a bunch of pictures. A clear "The End" kind of thing would be nice, instead of just looping it. I did not like your method of displaying text, most was hard to read and went by awfully quick. Keep at it, you'll get better

The parts in space, those were awesome
The message you conveyed, the bomb going off was really well animated
It all flowed every well

Didn't like
The music, got annoying near the end
Numerous small details, one asteroid that didn't move, trees having green shadows.
Animations of people could use work

I thought this was very funny

The thing I probably laughed the most were the kid's reactions to everything, especially when the door was creaking. The dad reading the Shining to the kid and just the name of the closet were also hilarious. Good job.

My favorite madness tribute

I definitely think you captured the madness feel pretty well. One thing I really liked was how you were able to create your own characters and give them a madness vibe. I also liked the depth you gave some characters, like how some helped the progtagonist instead of everyone just shooting at him. Definitely my favorite madness tribute.

[Nocturnus]

Good

I really liked the dreamlike feel you managed to get across. However, I don't understand the static. That kind of took away from it for me. Especially the fact that it was there the whole time, even while your character was sitting in bed, not dreaming. Thats the only thing I didn't like though. Nice music, and it was really fluid.
